The Preparation
Every volunteer is asked to bring supplies to the school they teach at, whether it's Lithuania, Russia, Ukraine, China, Mexico, or Thailand. I announced to my home ward that I needed some craft and school supplies and quickly realized how blessed I am. Tons of people generously offered donations of money and supplies to my cause. Their love and support was so incredible and I am so thankful to everyone that has helped me out so much!
Going to China
Hello Everyone!
This blog is for my friends and family who want to keep up with my adventures in China. I received a flyer in the mail explaining about the International Language Program (ILP), so I went to the meeting and got hooked! I was originally going to go to Ukraine during my off-track but was inspired to switch to China and defer my Winter semester. I'm leaving America February 11th and will teach little Chinese kids English for 5 months until June 25th. This will be the adventure of my life.
